Expert Content
The changing demographics of the United States means there are new challenges to mental health issues and how mental and social services are provided. Caravel Institute course materials provide relevant training that is culturally sensitive to new immigrants, multi-generational families, immigrant youth, and acculturated minority populations.
Online To Fit Your Schedule All The Time
Each Caravel Institute class is taught online through an interactive webinar format where you can discuss issues, ask questions, and receive valuable take-away course materials. All you need to attend is an Internet connection in the location of your choice. Past classes are also posted online so that you can review material when it is best for your schedule.
Our Audience
Caravel Institute Coursework has been developed for social service providers, mental health professionals, school guidance counselors, human resource departments, law enforcement agencies, and military family service providers.
The Caravel Spirit
The Caravel Institute is named after the 15 Century Portuguese sailing ships that deftly and bravely explored the world bringing back new ideas and an interest in new cultures. Caravel sailors changed how people across the globe interacted. The Caravel Institute works to develop a new dialogue and understanding of cultures and their growing social service and mental health needs.
