2012 Success

Thank you for making the 2012 Gala a success!

The Road to Independence Gala provided a festive and elegant setting for community and business leaders and supporters to celebrate the impact of NVFS on families and children in need. It also recognized the generous donors and supporters who are dedicated to giving back to the community in which they live and who make our services possible.

This year we were honored to have John Jumper, CEO of SAIC, as our gala chair. SAIC has been a great supporter of NVFS and we were thrilled to have their involvement with the 2012 Road to Independence Gala. 

The Gala featured a vast array of silent and live auction items, gripping personal testimonies by select clients whose lives have been impacted by NVFS, and recognized the Community Champion and the Legends of Northern Virginia for their significant contributions to the lives of children and families in our community.
