Homelessness Prevention
Emergency financial assistance to low and moderate-income households facing a housing crisis. Provides grants for rent, security deposits, and utility cut-off notices.
Eligibility
To receive assistance must reside in Fairfax County and must not have received previous help from Eviction Prevention in the past 24 months. Must be within maximum income limits of 80% area median income.
Referral process
FAIRFAX ONLY: Coordinated Services Planning (CSP) Referral. Client must have referral from CSP to become a client with NVFS.
