With so many nonprofits in the DC area, why does F.H. Furr choose to support NVFS?
We look forward to partnering with NVFS annually for the Back-To-School drive because their footprint covers and maximizes impact into the areas we service. So we’re giving back to our customers and their communities! Part of the F.H. Furr Difference is our focus on more than just plumbing, HVAC and electrical service….our focus is on the people who receive it!

What did you learn through volunteering with NVFS’ Back-to-School Drive? What is important information that the Northern Virginia community should know about the local need in NoVA?
Each year when we partner with NVFS’ Back-To-School Drive, we learn how committed they are to the communities they serve and that is the same goal that we have here at F.H. Furr. It’s important for the community to know that NO donation is too small or too large! Your family could put together a box and fill it for a food or school drive. Your church or even your company could do the same!

What impact does F.H. Furr feel it has been able to achieve through NVFS? What sets NVFS apart that makes it a unique partnership for F.H. Furr?
We can’t say it enough! It’s the impact to the communities in our footprint that we serve. We love knowing that we’re giving back to those who are right in our backyard! Our employees are honored to volunteer, serve and get involved with our charities, and on an even larger scale, F.H. Furr has committed to donating a portion of our profits to our community.
