Getting There

Driving
The Barns and Center for Education at Wolf Trap
1635 Trap Road, Vienna VA 22182

Parking
Complimentary self-parking in a paved lot will be available immediately adjacent to the Center for Education and The Barns.

Event Location at Wolf Trap
Our event will be held in the Center for Education and The Barns at Wolf Trap. If you have accessibility requirements, please be sure to share those with Sarah Crosley in advance.

Attire
Casual chic (also called dressy casual or smart casual) attire is suggested.
What exactly does this mean? It’s a combination of relaxed and refined pieces — think sun- or shirt- dresses, blouses, dress shirts, button-downs, dress pants or skirts, dark jeans, and fun shoes. We suggest that you wear what is comfortable and makes you feel like celebrating!

What to Expect
When you arrive, you will enter through the main doors of the Center for Education and proceed to the check-in table, where you’ll receive your nametag and printed program booklet that includes your bidder number for the silent auction and paddle raise. There are no paper tickets to bring or redeem. After checking in, you can journey through our new Mission Experience, where you’ll learn about the resources and services NVFS provides to help strengthen families. After that, you’ll make your way over to The Barns where you can enjoy more food and refreshments along with live music, our silent auction and program.

Please note this event is reception style only with no seated dinner or table assignments. If you have accessibility requirements or will have difficulty standing for the duration of the evening, please reach out to Sarah Crosley to make arrangements in advance.

What to Bring
A fully charged smartphone! You’ll be using your smartphone to place silent auction bids and buy raffle tickets. Outlets and cords will be available for charging as needed. If you do not own a smartphone or would prefer to attend without, there will be a bidding station available.

Bidding Starts Early!
Our silent auction will open before May 9. Please be sure to share your and your guests’ names and contact information with our team in advance so that we can pre-register you for the event. This will expedite your check-in process and ensure you receive all pre-event communications, including early access to the auction when it opens. More details to come on the auction closer to the event!
