Monday: Closed
Tuesday – Sunday: 10am-6pm

Note: Store Closed New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and other days as posted

Donation Hours

Available from store Open until 2 hours prior to Closing

We are grateful for your donations. All proceeds from the NVFS Thrift Shop support NVFS’ mission to help our neighbors build the foundations they need for a thriving life for themselves and their families.

Please only donate items that are in clean, gently used, or new condition. Your donation of good quality used items helps us quickly and easily process donations and ensures that our store provides reasonably priced, like new items that are ready for their second life. Thank you.

We Happily Accept the following clean, gently used, or New condition:

Clothing and accessories

Shoes, purses, and jewelry

Home décor items

Artwork and frames, throw rugs (no stains, tears, etc.), and household linens/curtains (No window blinds)

Small electronics

Radios, lamps, (plug in only – no hardwired lamps), flat-screen TVs in working condition (no more than 4 years old)

Kitchen items

Dishes, cookware, utensils, and small appliances (must be clean and working properly)

Furniture

Small and medium size, fully assembled, with no missing parts and in excellent condition. Upholstered furniture must be free of tears, stains and pet hair.

Toys, games, sporting goods, dolls

Bikes (no large exercise equipment like treadmills), super clean dolls, action figures, and stuffed animals
Video games and video game consoles

Vintage items and collectibles

Reading, music & entertainment

Books (no textbooks), albums, CDs, DVDs (no cassettes or VHS tapes)

Tools

Small power tools in working order and hardware items (no gas-powered items)

Sofas

On a case-by-case basis

We are unable to accept the following

  • Beds, mattresses, bedframes, sofabeds or futons
  • Baby equipment such as strollers, car seats, booster seats, cribs, bassinets
  • Large appliances such as washers/dryers, fridges/freezers (dorm size is acceptable), a/c units, stoves
  • Computers, monitors, printers, TVs older than 5 years, singular cables/remotes
  • Medical Supplies
  • Personal care items (lotion, shampoo, etc.)
  • Chemicals, cleaning products
  • Food
  • Pianos or organs (full-size)
  • Large exercise equipment, like treadmills
  • Large furniture, like armoires or wall units over 4 feet wide, china cabinets over 3 feet wide
  • Hardwire light fixtures, building materials, sinks, cabinetry, tiles, carpeting, etc.
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Furniture that needs assembly
