Jackie Maldonado joined Northern Virginia Family Services (NVFS) in June 2022 as the Director of Workforce Development. She has over 19 years of nonprofit experience, with a strong focus on advancing health and human services and creating pathways to economic mobility for underserved communities.
Jackie is a dedicated advocate for equitable access to opportunity. Her work centers on addressing barriers faced by low-income and immigrant populations by connecting individuals to workforce training, education, and supportive services that lead to long-term stability and career advancement.
She currently serves as a member of the Northern Virginia Career Works Board of Directors, where she contributes to regional workforce strategy and alignment with employer needs.
Jackie holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and her pets.
