These new board members were voted to three-year terms at NVFS’ Annual Meeting, held June 12, 2014. At that time, members also approved the slate of officers for the 2015 Fiscal Year:

“Last year, NVFS board members gave more than 1,300 volunteer hours to steward this agency, hand-in-hand with our executive leadership,” said Board Chair Misti Mukherjee. “But what’s truly inspirational is the passion our board members have to fulfill NVFS’ mission and serve Northern Virginia’s most vulnerable populations.”
Last year, the NVFS Board was recognized for its excellence by the Center for Nonprofit Advancement with its 2013 Board Leadership Award. Full biographies for NVFS board members and officers can be found at www.nvfs.org/board.
