Northern Virginia Family Service Elects New Officers, Board Member
(Oakton, Va., July 18, 2013) Misti Mukherjee, Washington, D.C., region partner at Jackson Lewis LLP, was elected Chairman of the Board of Northern Virginia Family Service (NVFS) at the nonprofit’s annual meeting on June 13, 2013. Mukherjee has been a member of NVFS’ board since 2010, chaired the 2012 CARE Awards, and served as the organization’s secretary for the last two years. She succeeds Hugo Aguas, assistant vice president of human resources at Inova Alexandria Hospital.
Other incoming officers for the 2014 Fiscal Year include:
- Vice Chair: J. Douglas Koelemay, SAIC Vice President for Community Relations
- Treasurer: James Edgemond, United Therapeutics Corporation Vice President, Treasurer and Strategic Financial Planning
- Secretary: Warrenetta Baker, Capital One Senior Vice President and Chief Counsel, Tax
In addition, Mark Jacobsohn, senior vice president at Booz Allen Hamilton, was elected to the Board for a three-year term.
