Six corporations and foundations supplied $72,450 to support program operations across Northern Virginia Family Service (NVFS).
(Oakton, Va. – Oct. 1, 2018) NVFS is grateful for the support of our corporate and foundation partners to help us maximize our impact in the community through their generous contributions. We would like to thank the following supporters for their grant awards in the first quarter of fiscal year 2019 (beginning July 1, 2018) to help our neighbors in need through NVFS’ programming and services:
I.J. and Hilda M. Breeden Foundation | $5,000 | NVFS’ SERVE Family Shelter |
Corning Foundation | $3,725 | Greater Prince William families |
Food Lion | $1,725 | NVFS’ Hunger Resource Center |
Meyer Foundation | $50,000 | NVFS’ Training Futures program |
Titmus | $2,000 | Mental health services at NVFS’ Multicultural Center |
TJX Foundation | $10,000 | NVFS’ SERVE Family Shelter |
These programs support neighbors across multiple jurisdictions, including Fairfax and Prince William counties, and the city of Manassas, which support 35,000+ individuals throughout Northern Virginia. Thank you for helping us to deepen our reach and impact in our local community.
