Director

Paola Sandoval-Moshenberg
Director, Multicultural Center

Paola has spent her career breaking down the barriers that keep immigrant survivors of violence from getting the help they need. Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, she came to this work as both a clinician and a community member — and brings over a decade of direct service experience with immigrant survivors of violence, including work as a therapist for survivors of torture, domestic violence, and sexual assault.

A licensed professional counselor and registered supervisor in Virginia, Paola believes that cultural awareness isn't a program feature but is the very foundation of every successful relationship.
