Where urgent needs are met and futures are built
The NVFS SERVE Campus has been a cornerstone of community support in the Greater Prince William area since 1975. Today, our Manassas campus brings together three connected spaces and some of NVFS's most essential programs, to meet urgent needs and support long-term stability.
Whether a family is facing their first night without a home, in need of food assistance, or supporting their child’s early development, SERVE is where families find a place to start.

Embedded in the communities we serve
NVFS Family Shelter
Northern Virginia's largest family homeless shelter, with 90 beds, dedicated case management, and a full continuum of services to help families move from crisis to permanent housing.
SERVING
Serving families in Prince William County, Manassas, and Manassas Park.
Hunger Resource Center
An 8,000-square-foot food assistance center serving families in Prince William County, Manassas, and Manassas Park with emergency food, nutrition information, and healthy eating resources.
No income verification required.

Family Shelter and Homeless Services
Emergency shelter, rapid re-housing, housing location, and homelessness prevention, all anchored by the NVFS Family Shelter and serving families in Prince William County, City of Manassas, and Manassas Park.
Food assistance
Emergency food assistance, nutrition information, and healthy eating resources for individuals and families. Registration required; no income verification needed.
Head Start
SERVE is home to a Head Start classroom serving families in Prince William County, supporting children's development and school readiness for ages 3-5.
Healthy Families
The SERVE Campus is a base for Healthy Families home-visiting services in Prince William County, supporting new and expectant families from pregnancy through a child's early years, in their own homes.
Community Health
NVFS connects children and adults with free or reduced-cost medical care, insurance enrollment, and prescription assistance. Community Health services are administered from SERVE Campus offices.
Find Us
Beginning Monday, June 15, Dean Drive (from Wellington Road) and Foster Drive will be closed for approximately two months.
During this time, access to the SERVE Campus will be available via Dean Drive from Nokesville/Route 28.
Please note that Waze, the GPS navigation app, has been more accurate and useful than Google Maps when navigating to SERVE.
