Thrift with Purpose
Every purchase and donation at our Thrift Store supports our programs across Northern Virginia, from emergency shelter and food assistance to workforce development and early childhood education.
When you shop or donate, you're doing more than just finding a great deal or clearing out your closet. You are helping to reduce waste by giving items a second life and making affordable clothing and household essentials within reach for neighbors in our community.

Drop-off or schedule a pick-up.
Donations can be dropped off at the Donations Door, located at the rear of the store during donation hours.
For at-home pickup, we partner with ReSupply. They will come to you and bring your items directly to the Thrift Store for a fee. (Note: NVFS does not set ReSupply's rates; all fees remain with ReSupply.)

Ages 12+ | Individuals, groups & teams | Flexible scheduling
Sort donations, stock shelves, and help sustain a community thrift store that makes affordable clothing and household essentials accessible to our neighbors.
We welcome individual volunteers, corporate and community groups, teens earning school service hours, and court-ordered community service placements. All volunteers are oriented and approved in advance.
