Center-based and home-based services in Arlington, Loudoun, and Prince William Counties. Supports infant and toddler development, prenatal health,education, health screenings, nutrition support, family engagement and parent-child bonding from the very beginning.
Head Start
For children ages 3-5
Center-based programs in Arlington and Prince William. Promotes school readiness through education, health screenings, nutrition support, and family engagement — so children arrive at kindergarten ready to learn.
Who we serve
Free programs for low-income families across Northern Virginia
Eligibility:
- Pregnant women and families with children ages 0–5
- Low-income families meeting federal poverty guidelines
- Priority given to children with disabilities, homeless families, and families receiving public assistance
- All spaces available on a prioritized first-come, first-served basis

- Proof of age (birth certificate, passport, or legal document)
- Proof of pregnancy for prenatal enrollment
- Proof of income
- Proof of residency
