Building skills, confidence, and a better future
Gangs recruit by offering a sense of belonging to vulnerable youth. We help youth ages 10 to 21 build the skills and confidence to resist recruitment and choose a healthier, more fulfilling path.
Through targeted prevention for at-risk youth and intervention for those already involved in gangs, we empower families and neighborhoods to replace destructive cycles with lasting stability and support.

For youth who are already gang-involved
We work one-on-one with young people to address their underlying vulnerabilities — poor school engagement, isolation from family and community, involvement with negative peers — and help them decrease and ultimately eliminate gang involvement.
Prevention
For youth at risk but not yet gang-involved
We connect young people with positive environments, activities, and relationships. Counselors provide academic support, help build social connections, and work with youth on goal-setting and future planning.
Education
For parents, guardians, and community members
We build awareness of gang dynamics and equip families with practical strategies — effective parenting skills, positive reinforcement, and ways to strengthen the parent-child relationship — so they can provide effective support and structure.
Eligibility
whO WE SERVE
- Any youth ages 10 to 21 who is either at risk of becoming or is currently gang-involved and;
- Lives in City of Alexandria and Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William Counties
