When Faustina began looking for ways to fill her free time after school, she knew she wanted to make an impact in her community, and that’s when she found NVFS.

“Volunteering with NVFS made me realize that I don’t have to travel to a [developing country] to help someone in need,” said Faustina. “Many families in this area here need support in all different aspects of life!”

Faustina connected with NVFS’ mission, which was a driving force in her choosing to spend her time volunteering with our organization, as well as the opportunity to provide professional work experience with fun activities.

Faustina was an asset to NVFS during the holiday season by assisting in gift-wrapping presents to be distributed at the Foster Care holiday party, as well as jumping in headfirst and assisting with a craft project to benefit Healthy Families.

“If anyone is looking to help in their community, NVFS is the perfect fit. By volunteering here, you can help people right in your neighborhood,” concluded Faustina.
